INTERIM REPORT FOR THE AFP grant 01-02-01-02, Faculty of Architecture, METU.
Conclusion

The methods and techniques used during the project were selected so as to provide a comparative study of different approaches. The evaluation which has been presented in this final report fully demonstrates that very useful and worthwhile progress has been made in the recording of stone built monuments and extensive stone pavements at Kerkenes and also for recording the multi-period standing monuments on Ile de la Passe. The potential for similarly useful and productive studies at Ankara Kale have likewise been fully articulated, and here a small but good beginning has been made. In the more ambitious study of a bath house complex it has been possible develop digital applications that hold very considerable promise for the future, but which will need to address the more complex problems of interiors, domes and other elements in addition to the successful studies of exteriors and settings that have been completed.
