The north point is on the left in the middle distance, the high area is the Byzantine Kale and, further to the right, the visible ruins at the center of the ridge on the skyline is the palace area. The whole of the western side and part of the northeastern side of the city wall can be seen, the eastern and southern sides lie beyond the horizon.

Şehir surlarının Batı bölümünün tamamı ve Kuzeydoğu bölümünün bir kısmı da bu fotoğrafta görülebilmektedir.;surların Doğu ve Güney kısımları ise ufuk çizgisinin arkasında kalmaktadır.
