Animal bones from selected contexts were studied by Evanglia Ioannidou Pişkin. They are housed in the Kerkenes Depot. Of particular note are the possible remains of meals associated with the construction of the Cappadocia Gate, bear bones and boar tusks from in front of the Structure A glacis at the Palatial Complex that could be associated with hunting, and a dolphin jaw bone from the Palatial Complex.
