DESCRIPTION
Bowl-shaped copper alloy object with 5 holes and one extant bent nail, complete. Highly polished interior and exterior, hammer marks on interior. Original object recut in antiquity, as attested by the sharp rim profile and uneven top. Object appears to have been slightly deformed in this process. 5 secondary holes, each 1 mm diameter, were drilled from the exterior at irregular intervals. One small nail, approx. 2 cm long, remains, point inward and, apparently, intentionally bent. Original object probably had higher walls. Neither original form nor recut function is clear.
