GIS at a click:
Arc View proves to be a valuable tool for archaeology. 'Click on' information
has become a familiar way to retrieve data. However we should not forget
the long hours of power cut that can occur in a village and the hazard
that it poses to an ongoing fieldwork season.
Youngest Team Members in 1993:
Ten years, ten seasons, many weeks and many days of data collection
since the inauguration of the project in 1993. Then, the Director’s
two young daughters were small and enjoyed washing bits of pottery.
In 1994 they helped flying the big balloon.
Ten Years on...
In 2002 the eldest daughter, a teenager, continues to be an active team
member while her sister enjoys arguing with her father. It has been
ten seasons and more than a 100 weeks in the field... Like the children,
the project is still growing.

Geoff, still a child at heart and a keen fan of Through the looking
